Abstract

Overview

ISO/IEC TR 15938-8:2002/Amd 1:2004 is an amendment to the Technical Report that clarifies extraction and use of MPEG‑7 descriptions for multimedia content. It extends Part 8 by adding container datatypes and descriptors that support aggregated feature descriptions over groups of frames (GOF/GOP) and a Color Temperature descriptor for perceptual illumination estimation. The amendment is intended for implementers of MPEG‑7-based content description and multimedia indexing systems.
