Overview

ISO/IEC TR 10192-2:2000 - "Information technology - Home Electronic System (HES) interfaces - Part 2: Simple Interface Type 1" specifies the mechanical, electrical, functional and test characteristics of a Simple Interface (SI) Type 1 used to connect simple two‑state devices (actuators/sensors) to a home network. Published as a type‑2 Technical Report, it defines the SI reference point between an SI device and an SI Network Access Unit (NAU), including pin assignments, signal forms, isolation and test procedures.
