BS EN 62087-1 is the first part of the BS EN 62087 multi-series on audio, video, and related equipment that specifies the general requirements for the determination of power consumption of audio, video, and related equipment. Requirements for specific types of equipment are specified in additional parts of this series of standards and supersede the requirements specified in BS EN 62087-1 . BS EN 62087-1 is applicable for equipment that can be powered by an external power source. Note: Equipment that includes a non-removable main battery is not covered by BS EN 62087-1 .
