What is BS EN 60953-3 – Rules for tests of retrofitted steam turbines about?

BS EN 60953 is a European Standard series that discusses the rules for steam turbine thermal acceptance tests. BS EN 60953-3 is the third part of the BS EN 60953 series that is also called "retrofit code" (RC), which establishes a supplementary retrofit code for thermal verification tests of retrofitted steam turbines. The purpose of BS EN 60953-3 is to establish appropriate guaranteed parameters, to verify these guarantees and to determine measurement uncertainty.
